Republicans Lose Where Trump Dominated!

Pennsylvania Republicans are facing a major political setback after Democrats appear to have pulled off a stunning upset in a state House special election Tuesday.

Democrat Brandon Dukes appears to have narrowly defeated Republican Scott Timko in Pennsylvania’s 12th Legislative District, a seat located in territory President Donald Trump carried by 18.4 percentage points in the 2024 election.

Unofficial results from Butler County showed Dukes ahead by just 88 votes, receiving 8,434 votes compared with Timko’s 8,346. Another 35 votes were cast for write-in candidates, and all 27 precincts had reported.
