Poll SHOCK: Mamdani’s Edge Vanishes Overnight!

The race for New York City mayor is tightening, and fast. A new Fox News Poll reveals Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani’s once-comfortable lead is starting to wobble — signaling that the final stretch of this campaign could be more competitive than anyone expected.

Conducted from October 24–28 among likely voters, the survey shows Mamdani still ahead with 47%, but his margin is slipping. Former Governor Andrew Cuomo follows at 31%, while Republican contender Curtis Sliwa trails with 15%. Even former mayor Eric Adams, who dropped out weeks ago, still registers 2% support. Earlier this month, Mamdani was polling at 52%, suggesting his campaign may be losing steam as undecided and centrist voters gravitate toward Cuomo.

Mamdani’s advantage has narrowed from 21 points to just 16, a sign that enthusiasm among his base could be softening. Cuomo, meanwhile, has climbed three points since early October, while Sliwa’s numbers have barely moved — indicating the real battle is between the progressive frontrunner and the former governor attempting a comeback.
