The heated debate erupted after a question posed by Fox News anchor Dana Perino about whether Vice President Kamala Harris might label Trump as “selfish” during her campaign trail.
Tarlov was quick to agree, saying, “For sure,” and explained that Trump’s track record of prioritizing his own interests over others makes him deserving of the label. She pointed to court cases that reveal Trump “stiffed everyone from contractors” and alleged that he “cheated on everyone that he’s been married to.” Tarlov’s argument was that Trump’s behavior reflects a pattern of selfishness, pointing out how he has made promises to wealthy donors, particularly in the oil industry, to secure tax breaks and favorable policies.

As Tarlov laid out her case, co-host Greg Gutfeld chimed in, sarcastically stating, “He just got shot running for president. Boy, that’s selfish,” referencing the hardships Trump has faced while campaigning. While Tarlov tried to continue making her point, Gutfeld’s interruptions were a reminder of the divisive nature of the debate.
