Frontier Airlines has cut ties with two contract employees after a video of their unprofessional behavior toward a paying customer went viral, drawing widespread backlash.
The incident took place at Raleigh-Durham International Airport and involved two workers at the Frontier Airlines check-in counter who taunted a passenger attempting to check in for his flight. The encounter was captured on the passenger’s phone and later shared on social media platform X, where it quickly garnered millions of views.
“I paid for a ticket,” the frustrated traveler can be heard telling the workers in the video as they record him in return. One worker repeatedly mocked the man’s situation, saying, “And you didn’t pay $25 for an agent assist fee, and you check in three hours later. Hello! And you thought you were going to get on your flight. And you thought you were going to get on your flight. And you thought you were going to get on your flight.”
As her colleague laughed beside her, the man continued to plead his case, stating, “I literally paid for a ticket. I’m here 30 minutes before my flight, and they’re not letting me check in.” The worker fired back, “And you’re not getting on your flight,” adding sarcastically, “Make me check you in.”
