Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could be facing a major legal battle after a fierce exchange with former ICE director Tom Homan over the controversial issue of aiding illegal immigrants. Homan, who now serves as the Biden administration’s Border Czar, has drawn a hard line on enforcing immigration law, and he just made it clear that he believes Ocasio-Cortez has crossed a dangerous line.
Homan Warns Ocasio-Cortez Over Alleged Lawbreaking
The conflict between Homan and the progressive New York Congresswoman hit a boiling point when Homan, during an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, accused Ocasio-Cortez of encouraging illegal activity. Specifically, he took aim at webinars hosted by Ocasio-Cortez’s office, which allegedly provide guidance to illegal immigrants on how to evade ICE enforcement.
“We all know exactly what she’s doing. Like I just said, she’s educating the worst of the worst how to invade law enforcement. But the tables have now turned. She’s educating people how to get prosecuted,” Homan said during the interview.
