NYT Interview LEAKS Dems’ Dark Plan

Democrats are showing their desperation. After years of losing ground with voters and struggling to hold on to power, some on the left are now floating ideas that would completely reshape America’s system of government.

One of the loudest voices pushing this agenda is Osita Nwanevu, a contributing editor at The New Republic and a fellow at the Roosevelt Institute. He just released a book titled “The Right of the People: Democracy and the Case for a New American Founding.”

In his book, Nwanevu argues that Democrats should stop trying to work within the system crafted by the Founding Fathers and instead push for radical reforms that would make it easier for them to pass their agenda.

During an interview with The New York Times on Thursday, Nwanevu made it clear that he sees the U.S. Senate as one of the biggest problems standing in the way of left-wing dominance. He complained that the chamber was designed to give smaller states the same representation as larger ones, ensuring every state had a voice in Washington.
