Protesters Disrupt Kristi Noem Senate Hearing
Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, designed to oversee DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, quickly spiraled into chaos.
From the start, protesters hijacked the event. The moment Noem was sworn in, a woman jumped to her feet, screaming that Noem had “disgraced our agency” and claiming “FEMA employees should be responding to disasters, not ICE.” Senate security quickly removed her.
