NJ Drones Mystery: “They Can’t Tell Us What They Are!”

A New Jersey lawmaker is raising serious concerns about the government’s lack of transparency regarding weeks of unexplained drone activity over the state and surrounding regions. State Senator Jon Bramnick accused federal authorities of withholding critical information about the sightings, which have alarmed both local officials and the general public.

Drone activity was initially reported near sensitive military areas but has since expanded to residential and waterfront locations across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. While Biden Administration officials have sought to downplay the incidents, Bramnick believes their silence signals something far more ominous.

Top officials, including Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and national security communications advisor John Kirby, have dismissed the majority of the sightings as commercially available drones or misidentified aircraft. “We haven’t seen anything unusual. We know of no threat,” Mayorkas said, adding that the administration has requested expanded authority to counter unauthorized drone activity.
