Iran is warning that any renewed American military offensive could trigger a significantly broader response, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claiming Tehran is prepared to deploy previously unseen weapons and strike targets that have so far remained outside the conflict.
The warning comes as President Donald Trump weighs his next move toward Iran and says his administration is considering several possible paths, including renewed military action, continued economic pressure or another attempt at a diplomatic agreement.
IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi issued the threat Monday, saying Iran would not simply repeat its previous response if American forces launched another attack.
Instead, he said Tehran would change both the weapons it uses and the areas it targets.
