New Clue Emerges in Nancy Guthrie Disappearance

New details are emerging in the troubling disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84 year old mother of Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie, and they are only deepening fears that her disappearance was no accident.

Residents living near Guthrie’s upscale Tucson neighborhood say a mysterious white van was seen parked on their street in the days leading up to her vanishing. The unmarked vehicle immediately stood out to at least one neighbor, who felt uneasy enough to alert authorities.

As investigators continue their search into a second week, law enforcement has not named a suspect. A 50,000 dollar reward is now being offered for information that could help bring Guthrie home safely.

One neighbor, Brett McIntire, said the van did not belong in the quiet residential area and caught his attention almost immediately.

“It was somewhere on that street. It was a white van, full-sized, with no printing on the sides. It was parked on the street,” McIntire said.
