In a shocking reversal, the same woman who spearheaded two impeachment efforts against Donald Trump has now quietly helped derail a third attempt—this one launched by a fringe Democrat eager to please the radical left. And this time, it wasn’t Trump who stopped the impeachment train. It was Democrats themselves—behind closed doors.
Rep. Shri Thanedar, a little-known second-term congressman from Michigan, recently filed seven articles of impeachment against President Trump in a brazen political stunt aimed at gaining favor with the progressive base. Facing a primary challenge from a Rashida Tlaib-backed candidate, Thanedar seemed desperate for attention—and willing to spark yet another Trump witch hunt to get it.
But this time, it backfired. Big time.
During a confidential meeting of House Democrats, senior members blasted Thanedar’s move as reckless and counterproductive. One of the loudest critics? Jerry Nadler, who once led impeachment efforts against Trump. Nadler didn’t hold back. He called the impeachment plan “idiotic,” a comment that, according to Axios, “was met with applause from lawmakers and backed up by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”
