Musk told Fox News’ Bret Baier that he’ll be stepping down from his role as chief adviser to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by May, marking 130 days since he began his voluntary post.
In classic Musk fashion, he’s not easing out quietly. The tech titan claims that under his leadership, the federal government has been saving an astonishing $4 billion every single day — that’s daily, non-stop, seven days a week. His aim? A jaw-dropping $1 trillion in annual savings.

If those numbers hold, Musk’s short stint will leave a massive dent in Uncle Sam’s reckless spending. By the time he exits, the cumulative savings could hit $520 billion, according to a New York Post analysis.

i knew something was terribly wrong with the electric bill during all of the Biden administration. of course i know being in Florida Im going to pay more than equal sq ft in many cooler states- but the 4400% increase i experienced in my home only started in the first year of Biden, then years 2 & 3 it sky rocketed and my usually aprox 280 a month bill skyrocketed to 440 a month for two years !!! The only excuse they gave was increased fuel costs !! i am one to not believe the lies of bureaucracy- and I was absolutely right !! it has all be lies of containment ! stealing Americans blind !!
