In a dramatic political reversal that is sending shockwaves through conservative circles, former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is now calling for Congress to consider invoking the 25th Amendment against President Donald Trump.
Greene, once one of Trump’s fiercest defenders and most loyal allies on Capitol Hill, has sharply broken with the president following a bitter split with the White House earlier this year. After resigning from her House seat, Greene has increasingly positioned herself as one of Trump’s most outspoken critics.
Now, she has taken that criticism to an entirely new level.
During an interview with CNN host Christiane Amanpour, Greene argued that President Trump’s recent rhetoric regarding Iran raised serious concerns about whether he is mentally fit to remain in office.
