MTG Stuns MAGA With Trump Attack

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The explosive exchange began when Amanpour referenced Trump’s controversial warning about Iran, which many critics described as extreme and inflammatory.

AMANPOUR: “You’ve been very critical of President Trump recently when he, you know, made that very apocalyptic threat to essentially wipe out. And a whole civilization will die tonight and will never be brought back. That’s what he said about Iran. You responded, 25th Amendment. Tell us what you what you meant.”

Greene did not hesitate.

GREENE: “I was absolutely shocked and horrified that the president, the man that I supported and helped get elected, would call for an entire civilization of people to be murdered.”

Her remarks mark an extraordinary shift from a woman who once campaigned tirelessly for Trump, defended him in the media, and was widely viewed as one of the leading voices of the MAGA movement.

Greene continued by arguing that Trump’s comments were not simply political rhetoric, but a dangerous statement directed at millions of innocent people.

GREENE: “When he talks about a civilization, he’s talking about every man, woman and child and the country of Iran to be killed.”

She went even further, saying no world leader should ever speak in those terms.

GREENE: “I think that is completely unacceptable for the president of the United States, for any leader of any country around the world, to call for an entire civilization to be killed.”

Then came the line that is now dominating headlines across Washington.

GREENE: “In a sense, the innocent lives to be wiped out. And, that really gave me grave concern for his mental capacity and that’s what the 25th Amendment is for.”

The 25th Amendment allows for a process to remove a sitting president who is deemed unable to carry out the duties of the office. While it has rarely been seriously discussed in modern politics, Greene’s demand guarantees renewed controversy.

Amanpour pressed her again to clarify whether she truly meant Trump should be removed if found unfit.

AMANPOUR: “So just to be clear, it’s to, you know, through Congress, through those official routes, is to sort of remove a president if they’re deemed unfit, to be able to carry out their duties. Do you believe that?”

Greene doubled down.

GREENE: “Yes. I really think that his mental capacity needs to be examined.”

Watch the clip below:

That statement alone is likely to ignite outrage among Trump supporters who once viewed Greene as one of their most reliable fighters in Washington.

But this feud did not begin overnight.

After the outbreak of war involving Iran earlier this year, Greene blasted Trump publicly on social media, accusing him of being disconnected from younger Americans and ordinary working families.

“Great Mr President. Good job,” she wrote on X. “Most of your baby boomer friends and supporters, I’m sure are cheering you the most.”

Then she added a vulgar message that underscored just how far relations had deteriorated.

“But us younger generations, Gen X (mine), Millennials, and especially Gen Z hate this fucking bullshit.”

The once-powerful alliance between Trump and Greene now appears completely shattered.

For years, Greene stood as one of the loudest America First voices in Congress. Today, she is openly questioning whether Trump should remain president at all.

Washington insiders know these kinds of political betrayals can have lasting consequences. Whether Greene’s comments gain traction or simply spark another media firestorm, one thing is certain:

The MAGA civil war just got a lot uglier.
