Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) delivered a scathing statement aimed at GOP elites and wealthy donors she believes are scheming to manipulate Georgia’s 2026 Senate race. Unapologetic and fiery, Greene accused the establishment of plotting to install a “MAGA costume-wearing fraud” to challenge Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff.
The statement came after an Axios report revealed that powerful donors connected to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp held a private retreat to discuss their preferred candidate. Greene, however, set the record straight: she’s not entering the Senate race.
In her declaration, Greene expressed her deep connection to Georgia, saying, “I love my home state of Georgia so much… These are the people I fight for.” She emphasized her commitment to grassroots conservatives, taking aim at political consultants and elites who, she says, are intent on undermining the MAGA movement.
