President Trump’s immigration crackdown just got a major boost from the heartland. Indiana Governor Mike Braun is making headlines after announcing a bold new project designed to keep illegal immigrants off the streets and in custody until they are sent home.

And Democrats are losing their minds.
Indiana’s 1,000-Bed Answer to the Border Crisis
In a move that has open-borders activists in full meltdown, Braun revealed plans for a massive 1,000-bed detention facility aimed squarely at housing illegal immigrants prior to deportation.
The project — nicknamed the “Speedway Slammer” in honor of Indiana’s racing heritage — will be built at the Miami Correctional Center, strategically placed between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne.
“We are proud to work with President Trump and Secretary Noem as they remove the worst of the worst with this innovative partnership,” Braun declared Tuesday.
