Michael Cohen’s Bombshell: Running for Congress Against Trump’s Legacy!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Reflecting on his past challenges, including a prison sentence for fraud and perjury, Cohen admitted he would have preferred to run in the current election cycle but was impeded by personal struggles, including a “mental breakdown” following the Trump trial. Despite these setbacks, Cohen remarked on the inclusivity of American democracy, saying, “What a great country America is,” noting that “Anyone can run for Congress — even con men.”

In a detailed narrative featured in New York Magazine, Cohen described his break with Trump, a decision spurred by the lack of a promised role in the administration and a pardon for his legal issues. Cohen’s erratic behavior leading up to the trial, which he attributes to sleep deprivation, included several impassioned outbursts on TikTok against Trump.

During the trial, Cohen offered a vivid description of Trump’s courtroom demeanor, which he found comically disengaged. “It’s crazy. I would say for my very first day, I’m not joking now, 90% of the time that I was on the stand, he was sleeping. Well, I shouldn’t say sleeping. He was with his eyes closed and slumped over,” Cohen recounted, noting the jury’s awareness of Trump’s apparent lack of interest. “Here’s the crazy s: The jury can see him! They are watching him! Now, if I was a juror and the defendant is so disinterested in his own ty? I’d be p*d!”

Despite mixed reviews from legal analysts regarding the impact of Cohen’s testimony, the Manhattan jury ultimately convicted the former president on what some consider to be dubious charges. Trump’s sentencing is scheduled for July 11, just before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
