Melania, a former model who married Donald Trump in 2005, has long been a figure of intrigue due to her quiet demeanor and often misunderstood public image. Her upcoming memoir, published by Skyhorse Publishing, is described as “an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life,” according to promotional materials.
The book is expected to unveil “stories and images never before shared with the public,” offering a unique glimpse into Melania’s experiences both before and during her time as First Lady.

In a separate interview, former President Donald Trump shared a chilling story about his son Barron learning that his father had been shot. The revelation came during an interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin, where Trump discussed the moments following the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where an assassination attempt had been made on his life.
“He’s a good tennis player,” Trump said of his youngest son, Barron. “And somebody ran up (and said), ‘Barron! Barron! Your father’s been shot.’” Trump went on to describe how Barron reacted, running to his mother in shock: “He loves his father. He’s a good kid, a good student. And he ran, ‘Mom! What’s going on? What’s going on?’”
Melania Trump had been watching the rally live on television when the attack occurred. Trump explained her reaction, saying, “She was watching it live. Can you imagine? And then I got up and let people know I was okay. Fight. Fight. Fight. But it was a big hit.”
Trump has spoken previously about the emotional impact the assassination attempt had on Melania, recalling a conversation where she admitted that she could hardly discuss the incident. “When I could talk to people, I said, ‘So what was your feeling?’, and she said she can’t even talk about it, which is okay because that means she likes me,” Trump quipped.

During the same interview, Trump shared more details about the moments following the attack. After being rushed to safety, his son Donald Trump Jr., known for his interest in firearms, was shocked by the precision of the shot. “I can’t believe it. From that distance… I can’t believe it,” Donald Jr. told his father. Trump echoed his disbelief: “From that distance, it’s supposed to be, like, a sure thing,” comparing the shot to “sinking a one-foot putt.”
At the time of the shooting, Trump had been presenting a chart of border crossing statistics, a moment he now reflects on as eerily close to his potential end. “If I turned around just a little bit less, or a little bit more… If I turned around more or less, it was still the end,” Trump remarked, recounting how narrowly he escaped a fatal shot.
In the midst of the political turmoil surrounding his family, Barron Trump has been going through major life changes of his own. This summer, the 17-year-old was spotted attending his first day at New York University’s Stern School of Business. The New York Post published photos of Barron arriving on campus in downtown Manhattan, flanked by Secret Service guards.
Proud father Donald Trump confirmed Barron’s enrollment at NYU in an interview with the Daily Mail, calling his youngest son a “very smart guy.” Trump added, “He’ll be going to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at NYU.”
Although Barron is now pursuing higher education at NYU, his father had previously floated the idea of him attending the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a prestigious business school that Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Tiffany Trump all attended. Eric Trump, meanwhile, earned his degree from Georgetown University.
As Melania prepares to unveil her memoir, Barron embarks on his own academic journey. The Trump family remains firmly in the public eye, with their personal stories continuing to capture national attention.
