Former President Donald Trump recently shared an emotional moment when his youngest son, Barron Trump, found out about an assassination attempt on his father while attending a tennis lesson. In an interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin, Trump revealed the heart-wrenching moment his son learned of the terrifying event.
“He’s a good tennis player. And somebody ran up (and said), ‘Barron! Barron! Your father’s been shot,’” Trump recounted. The young boy’s reaction was immediate and full of concern. Trump continued, “He loves his father. He’s a good kid, a good student. And he ran, ‘Mom! What’s going on? What’s going on?’”

Trump revealed that Barron’s mother, Melania Trump, the former First Lady, had been watching the event unfold live on television. Trump described her horror as she watched the chaos at the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as the attempt on her husband’s life played out in real-time. “She was watching it live. Can you imagine? And then I got up and let people know I was okay. Fight. Fight. Fight. But it was a big hit,” he said.
