Viewers are then taken through a series of striking scenes, including the couple at the inauguration, moments together outside Mar-a-Lago, and behind-the-scenes glimpses featuring Baron Trump and Mrs. Trump’s father. The footage also captures the First Lady alongside Air Force One and the presidential seal, providing a cinematic glimpse into her unique perspective.
The iconic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lion makes its appearance, roaring as it fills the screen, signaling the film’s grandeur and high production value.
The trailer closes with a poignant scene of Mrs. Trump entering a room where President Trump rehearses a speech. “My proudest legacy will be that of peacemaker,” he says. Mrs. Trump then adds: “Peacemaker and unifier.”
Other standout moments in the trailer show the First Lady stepping from a vehicle in black stiletto boots, transitioning to the East Wing where she dons a white-and-black inaugural ball gown, smiling warmly at the camera. Viewers are invited to “witness history in the making.”
Additional sequences highlight her reviewing materials with staff and sharing candid behind-the-scenes interactions. In one tense moment, Mrs. Trump asks a security detail, “Is it safe?” and is reassured, “It is safe,” before the scene cuts to sirens and the presidential motorcade navigating city streets.
“20 days to become first lady of the United States,” the trailer proclaims. Melania is then seen saying, “Everyone wants to know. So here it is.” The preview concludes with her calling the president to say, “Congratulations.”
“Did you watch it?” President Trump asks.
“I did not. Yeah, I will see it on the news,” Mrs. Trump replies.
Emphasizing the historical importance, Melania explained, “The story has never been told, and because the subject matter is historically consequential, it was imperative for me to produce a film of the highest cinematic standard, suitable exclusively in theaters worldwide.”
“The 20 days of my life, preceding the U.S. Presidential inauguration, constitutes a rare and defining moment—one that warrants meticulous care, integrity, and uncompromising craftsmanship,” she said. “I am proud to share this very specific moment of my life—20 days of intense transition and planning—with moviegoers and fans across the globe.”
Fox News reported that Mrs. Trump played an active role in all aspects of the production, from creative direction to post-production marketing. She served as a producer and maintained hands-on involvement throughout the project.
“She is giving the audience unprecedented access to her life — and to any first lady’s life — during this 20-day period,” a source familiar with the film told Fox News.
Fox also noted that “Marc Beckman, Mrs. Trump’s agent and exclusive senior advisor, led negotiations on her behalf with Amazon, specifically with Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, beginning on Nov. 18, 2024.”
