The radical left’s obsession with the Trump family has hit a disturbing new low. Despite being a private citizen, 18-year-old Barron Trump has become the subject of vile online attacks — all because his father is holding elitist institutions accountable.
President Donald Trump recently launched a fiery crackdown on Harvard University, slamming the Ivy League school for its refusal to abandon discriminatory DEI policies and its failure to protect Jewish students from pro-Hamas radicals roaming the campus. But instead of addressing those serious issues, leftists on social media are circulating a completely baseless rumor: that President Trump is targeting Harvard out of spite because the school allegedly rejected his youngest son.
The smear campaign gained so much traction that it forced former First Lady Melania Trump — known for her fierce protection of her family’s privacy — to break her silence and defend Barron.
“Barron did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false,” Melania said in a rare public statement.
