Former Congressman Matt Gaetz has sparked fresh speculation about his political future after withdrawing his name from consideration for U.S. Attorney General. Gaetz, a vocal ally of President-elect Donald Trump, made waves on social media with a lighthearted Cameo video, dropping hints about his next move.
The video, which has garnered attention among conservatives, appeared to directly address FBI Director Christopher Wray. “What’s up Chris, this is Matt Gaetz,” Gaetz said. “I know you’re bummed out I’m not going to be taking out the garbage at the Department of Justice, but don’t despair. We’ve got an awesome attorney general coming in, Pam Bondi, and you know what? They can stop one of us, but they can’t stop all of us.”
