Corporate America Pulls the Plug on New Hires
A recent survey from Intelligent.com, which gathered responses from nearly 1,000 business leaders across the United States, paints a stark picture. Employers are not just dissatisfied. They are taking action.
Six out of ten companies reported that they have already terminated employees hired straight out of college. That alone signals a massive breakdown in expectations between schools and the workplace.
Even more concerning, three-quarters of employers said that at least some of their recent graduate hires failed to meet basic job standards. These are not minor complaints. These are foundational issues.
