Democrats PANIC as GOP Candidate Surges!

In a political development few thought possible just a few years ago, Republicans may finally have an opening in one of America’s deepest blue strongholds.

A new poll out of Oregon is sending shockwaves through the state’s political establishment after showing Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Dudley leading Democrat Governor Tina Kotek in a hypothetical general election matchup.

For a state that hasn’t elected a Republican governor since the early 1980s, the numbers are raising serious concerns for Democrats who have long treated Oregon as safely locked down territory.

Dudley, a former NBA player turned businessman and nonprofit founder, is suddenly emerging as a legitimate threat to Kotek’s grip on power as frustration grows across the state over crime, homelessness, inflation, and declining quality of life.

The poll, commissioned by Dudley’s campaign and conducted by Portland-based Hoffman Research Group, surveyed 603 likely general-election voters between May 11 and May 12. The survey carries a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.

The results were eye-opening.
