Mother’s Day often brings back memories of childhood games and antics that parents fondly — or not so fondly — recall. While some moms smile at the thought of their child’s playful nature, others might cringe a bit.
For former President Donald Trump, his mother, Mary Trump, remembered quite vividly what her son loved as a child — and it’s something that just might fit the man he became.
Games That Shaped Trump’s Early Days
In a 1992 interview with New York broadcasting legend Ernie Anastos on the program “America Wants to Know,” Mary Trump shared some insight into young Donald’s favorite childhood activities.
“He played Monopoly — yes, indeed,” Mary Trump said. “He played with his brother; he played with Robert.”
