Continuing the Mission
After stepping down from Focus on the Family in 2010, Dobson wasn’t done. Instead, he created the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI), a smaller but deeply personal project designed to keep his mission alive. Through this platform, he continued using media to encourage families and spread gospel-centered values across the globe.

Dobson didn’t just lead from the pulpit or through the airwaves. He authored more than 70 books that shaped the lives of parents and families for decades.
