Letitia James’s Virginia Scandal BLOWS WIDE OPEN!

New York Attorney General Letitia James is no stranger to controversy, but newly surfaced records suggest she may have even bigger legal troubles looming—this time tied to a suspicious foreclosure deal in Virginia and possible violations of campaign finance disclosure laws.

At the center of the firestorm is a 2008 foreclosure auction for a modest home located at 21 Peters Street in Martinsville, Virginia. A document titled “Final Foreclosure Accounting” lists James as one of three individuals who purchased the home at the auction. Alongside her name are Johnsie and Philip Finney, who reportedly lost the property in foreclosure after falling behind on their mortgage with Wells Fargo Bank.

Oddly enough, the document spells James’s first name as “Letitua.” While it could be chalked up to a clerical error, skeptics argue the misspelling may have been intentional—perhaps an effort to obscure her involvement in the transaction. It’s a strange coincidence, especially considering James was serving as a member of the New York City Council at the time.
