For weeks, leftists across the country have been openly calling for violence against Trump and his allies. The rhetoric has escalated to dangerous levels, and now, even children of Trump officials are being targeted by political agitators.

On Saturday, UCLA Criminal Law Professor Peter Arenella took it a step further, openly calling for a military coup against Trump. In a now-deleted tweet, Arenella declared that the U.S. military must launch an insurrection to prevent America from aligning with Russia. In other words, he’s advocating for the military to overthrow a democratically elected leader in the name of “saving democracy.”
