In a chilling escalation of political targeting, prominent conservative figures and their family members are being subjected to swatting attacks—an act of terror that places innocent lives at risk. Swatting involves falsely reporting a crime to dispatch armed law enforcement to an unsuspecting victim’s home, creating a potentially deadly confrontation.
Last night, two family members of conservative commentator Nick Sortor were swatted in separate incidents. Sortor, a well-known journalist with over 900K followers on X, shared the harrowing experience in a series of posts. He revealed that both his father and sister were swatted in what he described as an attempted assassination via law enforcement.

“Both my dad and my sister were swatted tonight. A dozen cops attempted to kick my dad’s door in at gunpoint. This is literal f***ing terrorism. And the FBI should treat it as such,” Sortor wrote.
He added, “In my dad’s case, the caller told police my dad was killing my entire family, requiring them to intervene with deadly force. This is nothing short of attempted murder. They wanted the police to kill my father.”
