As New York’s mayoral race heats up, Kudlow delivered a sharp critique of the Left’s embrace of fringe candidates like self-proclaimed Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani. Mamdani’s shocking Primary win over former Governor Andrew Cuomo may have thrilled far-left activists, but Kudlow sees it as a disaster in the making for Democrats.
“Democratic socialists like Zoran Mondani may win primaries but they are pulling that party so far to the left that they can’t win a general election,” Kudlow said during his segment. “In many ways AOC and Bernie Sanders are doing the Republican Party a very big favor.”¹
The former Reagan economist made it clear: this isn’t just politics—it’s a fight for the soul of the city.
At the heart of this election stands a clear choice. On one side, you have Mamdani—a radical pushing failed policies from the Bernie Sanders-AOC playbook. On the other, there’s Mayor Eric Adams, a former NYPD officer who left the Democrat Party to run as an independent.
