Enter Kid Rock — the unapologetic patriot and entertainer who’s never been shy about where he stands. Appearing on Fox & Friends, he blasted Springsteen’s anti-Trump tirade and didn’t mince words.
“Just another person with TDS [Trump derangement syndrome] at the highest levels,” Kid Rock said. “I mean to be in Europe talking junk about our president that gets up and works his a** off for this country every day, and this administration is doing such great things, I mean thank God for ’em. But to do that in Europe? What a punk move.”
Rock continued to torch the self-proclaimed “working-class hero,” pointing out that Springsteen’s massive fortune paints a very different picture.
“This guy’s got what, $500 million, a billion dollars, and is out there playing like he’s a working-class hero? And really to me he just wants to be in good standing with the Hollywood elite,” he added.
The feud didn’t stop there. Kid Rock turned up the heat during an appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime, doubling down on his criticism.
“Bruce Springsteen’s another one of these liberals who has mountains of money that so desperately wants to keep his good standing in the eyes of Hollywood and the elite, but plays like this working class guy. His politics are so a**-backwards. Just stay in Europe, Bruce. Have fun,” he said.
President Trump also weighed in on the Springsteen saga — and he wasn’t buying the rocker’s so-called activism. Posting on Truth Social, Trump questioned why Springsteen supported Kamala Harris in the last election, hinting at possible shady dealings.
“HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT?” Trump asked. “WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???”
