Kamala’s Copycat Scandal Deepens!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“Virtually her entire testimony about the bill was taken from that of another district attorney, Paul Logli of Winnebago County, Illinois, who had testified in support of the legislation two months earlier before the Senate Judiciary Committee,” the Free Beacon reported.

The overlap in the language and structure of the testimonies is striking. Both statements cite identical surveys, follow the same order in presenting points, and even share the same grammatical mistakes. The report notes that Harris’ version included the same typos as Logli’s statement, with minor changes such as a corrected grammatical error.

The fact that these similarities were not limited to general talking points but extended to specifics like punctuation and phrasing has raised eyebrows across the political spectrum.

This is not the first time Harris has faced allegations of lifting material from others. In a now-well-documented case, Rufo claimed Harris copied sections from Wikipedia for her book. However, the scandal doesn’t stop there. The Free Beacon report also sheds light on several other instances where Harris allegedly appropriated the work of others during her time as California’s Attorney General.

In 2012, Harris gave testimony about child sex trafficking, referencing information from the Polaris Project, a nonprofit organization that combats human trafficking. However, the project had posted case summaries with details such as names and locations altered. In her testimony, Harris further changed these details, moving one incident from Washington, D.C., to San Francisco. This subtle shift in location effectively allowed Harris to take credit for a rescue that didn’t occur in her state, further complicating her credibility.

The Free Beacon commented on the change, noting that Harris’ alteration “effectively gave Harris credit for a rescue that never occurred, at least in her state, and reflects what Skinner, the former solicitor general, said was a common perception of Harris among legal officials at the time.”

It’s not just one or two instances, either. The allegations go further, with claims that in 2010, a report from Harris’ office copied parts of a predecessor’s report. In 2012, Harris reportedly borrowed text from Wikipedia for another document. Then in 2014, a separate report was found to have lifted sections from a New York state judge’s ruling, including his footnotes.

O.H. Skinner, Arizona’s former solicitor general, was critical of Harris’ actions. “Being a state’s top lawyer is a real responsibility,” he said. “It requires attention to detail. When you cannot bother to produce your own work, it says something about your approach to a job that demands the best from those in it.”

The accusations have stoked further criticism from political observers who argue that Harris has never been regarded as an intellectual heavyweight. Skinner echoed this sentiment, noting, “She was never viewed in the Attorney General community as being an intellectual leader. It is very on-brand with that reputation to hear now that she was repackaging stories from other locations as though they happened in California.”

These plagiarism claims are likely to haunt Harris, especially as she continues to be a prominent figure in the Biden administration. The allegations not only raise concerns about her integrity but also about her competence as a leader. The vice president’s reputation may take a further hit as more details come to light, putting her political future in jeopardy.

The unfolding scandal around Kamala Harris’ alleged plagiarism doesn’t just stop at a single book or a single instance. The web of accusations now spans her career as a public official, painting a troubling picture of a leader who, at best, lacks originality and, at worst, may be deliberately taking credit for others’ work. As these stories continue to surface, the question remains: How long can Harris weather this storm of controversy?
