During his discussion with host Stephanie Ruhle, Romney expressed concerns over what he perceives as a rising tide of isolationism within the Republican Party.
Romney, a prominent figure in the GOP, highlighted a significant shift away from the internationalist policies championed by past Republican leaders such as Ronald Reagan and the Bush family. “It’s unimaginable that in the party of Ronald Reagan and George Herbert Walker Bush and George W. Bush and John McCain and others, that we would see a growing isolationism within our party,” Romney remarked.
