Vice President Kamala Harris is continuing to dodge media appearances, raising eyebrows as her campaign struggles to gain traction. On Thursday night, Harris was approached by Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy as she exited the Democratic National Convention (DNC) following her nomination speech. Doocy asked the Vice President a straightforward question: “Are you ready for your Fox News interview?”
Harris, who hasn’t participated in an interview since the start of her campaign, responded with a laugh, saying, “I’m working toward it.”

This noncommittal response only adds to the growing concern among her supporters and critics alike. Since launching her campaign on July 21, Harris has yet to provide a date for an interview or press conference. Her campaign’s communications director, Michael Tyler, informed CNN’s Jim Acosta on August 14 that Harris would agree to a sit-down interview by the end of August. However, no details about a scheduled press conference were provided.
