Just In: Biden Family Could Be Subpoenaed!

“Every option’s on the table. We’re going to try to get answers. We’re going to try to do this rapidly,” Comer said when asked whether even President Biden himself might be hauled in to face questioning.

He emphasized that the committee would weigh all possible actions: “We’ll decide as a committee what steps to take next and who to bring in. But I think right now every option is on the table.”

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), who has become one of the committee’s most vocal members, echoed Comer’s determination—going even further by suggesting every individual connected to the Biden administration needs to answer for what happened behind the scenes.

“As far as I’m concerned, every member of the Biden administration at this point needs to be subpoenaed. I don’t care if they were a secretary. I don’t care if they were a janitor working in there. They’ve all got to come in and answer questions,” Donalds declared.

When pressed specifically about Jill Biden, Donalds didn’t hesitate: “Of course.”

The comments came after a closed-door session where the committee grilled Anthony Bernal, former Chief of Staff to Jill Biden. Bernal has been described by Democratic operatives as a behind-the-scenes power player who allegedly held significant control within the West Wing while the president reportedly struggled to function.

Democratic Party insiders like Lindy Li and former DNC co-chair David Hogg have both pointed to Bernal as a “puppet master,” controlling the daily functions of the presidency while Biden reportedly struggled with basic tasks—including recognizing longtime aides.

“Her right-hand man – listen, Anthony Bernal was the right-hand man. That’s her guy, her chief of staff,” Donalds emphasized in an interview with Fox News. “If he came in here and pleaded the fifth, I’m sorry, the former first lady, she’s got to come in here and answer questions.”

The central question of the investigation remains: Was Joe Biden actually making executive decisions—or were others in his inner circle quietly pulling the strings?

This line of inquiry gained traction after a troubling report surfaced about how presidential pardons were issued in Biden’s name—without him personally reviewing the final documents. Instead, staff allegedly processed the paperwork using an autopen, raising serious concerns about whether Biden had full knowledge of who was being pardoned during his final days in office.

Biden offered a vague defense to The New York Times, saying he “signed off on the standards,” but his ambiguous language only added to the suspicion.

The Times noted, “Rather than ask Biden to keep signing revised versions, his staff waited and then ran the final version thru the autopen, which they saw as…routine.”

Bernal became the fourth White House aide called to testify in the growing investigation. According to Comer and Donalds, his appearance was brief—under an hour—and he repeatedly invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

Donalds expressed disbelief: “Stunning,” he said of Bernal’s refusal to answer questions, especially considering the influential role he reportedly played.

White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who gave Biden a clean bill of health earlier this year, also refused to answer questions during his own hearing by invoking the Fifth. Annie Tomasini, Biden’s former Deputy Chief of Staff, was likewise subpoenaed—but only after her attorney intervened.

With subpoenas on the table and the Biden White House seemingly in damage control mode, the question on everyone’s mind is simple: Who has really been running the show? If the GOP gets its way, we might be closer than ever to finding out.
