A disturbing attack at Washington, D.C.’s Union Station has left many shaken after a mob of teenage girls allegedly assaulted a woman in broad daylight. The suspects, ranging in age from just 11 to 14, have since been arrested following the brutal beating, which was caught on video and quickly spread across social media.
The Metropolitan Police Department was alerted to the attack on Wednesday when footage surfaced showing the group “repeatedly punching and kicking” a woman as she simply “walked outside of Union Station,” according to an official police statement.

“One of the suspects recorded the assault and encouraged the other suspects to continue their attack,” the release noted.
Bystanders who tried to intervene were also reportedly targeted, though no severe injuries were reported among them.
