The Democrat establishment’s panic is real — and for good reason. Once considered the party of the working man, the Democrats have watched their support among blue-collar, Hispanic, and even black men plummet in recent years. Much of that shift has been attributed to rising influence in alternative media platforms, like podcasts, where figures like Joe Rogan and Theo Von have captured massive male audiences with no-nonsense commentary and an anti-establishment tone.
According to the Times report, Democratic strategists now want to essentially clone that influence, even hoping to “create” their own version of a “liberal Joe Rogan.”
But Behar, who has become increasingly combative and out-of-touch, mocked the effort. “20 million bucks just to talk to boys,” she scoffed, deriding the project as frivolous.
Conservative commentator and “The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin was quick to push back, highlighting how Donald Trump has made significant gains with voters the Democrats once took for granted.
She pointed out that Trump didn’t just perform well with white working-class men, but made historic inroads with Hispanic and black voters — groups that have increasingly soured on Democrat messaging.
Behar wasn’t having it. She fired back with a baseless accusation, saying Trump’s popularity stemmed from sexism. “You think Democrats that were with Biden in 2020 left to be with Trump because they’re sexist?” Griffin asked.
“I don’t know the reason, but it’s very suspicious,” Behar replied, doubling down without offering any evidence.
Griffin continued dismantling the Democrats’ narrative by pointing out that the authenticity and relatability of podcast hosts like Rogan are what draw people in — not political consultants or focus-grouped messaging. “What made Joe Rogan or Theo Von or some of these manosphere guys huge was there’s a level of authenticity,” she explained.
Even more damning for Democrats? Rogan himself once backed Bernie Sanders — before ultimately endorsing Trump. “Joe Rogan was a Bernie Bro. Democrats lost him. They had their own Joe Rogan and then alienated him with policies,” Griffin said.
It’s a truth Democrats refuse to face: millions of men have walked away from their party — not because they’re sexist or backward — but because the modern Left is increasingly hostile to masculinity, common sense, and working-class values.
While Behar may think it’s wise to give up on half the population, it’s clear that attitude is part of what’s driving men — and increasingly, women — straight into the arms of candidates who actually listen, rather than lecture.
With 2024 on the horizon and Democrats hemorrhaging voters, the real question is: will they wake up — or will they keep doubling down on failure?
Either way, Joy Behar has made it clear which path she prefers.
