A political firestorm erupted this week after podcast giant Joe Rogan publicly blasted the Trump administration’s handling of the long-awaited Jeffrey Epstein files.
Rogan, who interviewed President Donald Trump in 2024 and later endorsed him, did not hold back. On his show, the influential commentator questioned why the Department of Justice redacted certain names while releasing others, calling the situation “terrible” and demanding answers.
His frustration centers on the Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, which has been accused of shielding names connected to Epstein’s network.
Lawmakers Force Unredactions
The controversy intensified after Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie uncovered that several names had been blacked out in the documents.
Following pressure from Congress, the DOJ unredacted six names. Those included Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, Nicola Caputo, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and Leslie Wexner.
