Jan 6 Shooter’s Secret “Business” Found!

In one of the most controversial actions tied to the closing days of the Biden administration, an autopen-authorized pardon was reportedly issued to U.S. Capitol Police Captain Mike Byrd—the officer who fatally shot unarmed January 6 protester Ashli Babbitt inside the Capitol building. The move has reignited outrage among conservatives who argue that justice was never served in Babbitt’s death and that political protection replaced accountability.

Ashli Babbitt, a 14-year Air Force veteran, was shot on January 6, 2021, as she attempted to climb through a narrow window near a barricaded hallway leading toward the Speaker of the House’s office area. Video footage from inside the Capitol captured the moment Byrd fired his weapon without issuing a verbal warning, striking Babbitt as she posed no visible lethal threat.

As previously reported, the footage shows multiple armed law enforcement officers positioned behind Byrd, raising serious questions about whether deadly force was necessary. Critics have long pointed out that no visible effort was made to physically restrain, detain, or de-escalate the situation before Byrd pulled the trigger.

Despite public concern and widespread scrutiny, an internal investigation ultimately cleared Byrd of wrongdoing. That decision has remained deeply controversial, particularly among Americans who believe the rules of engagement were applied differently depending on political circumstances and the identity of the individual involved.
