U.S. Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) asserts that the Select Committee on January 6th, in its investigation into former President Donald Trump and the Capitol protests, neglected to protect important evidence. Included in this evidence are taped testimonies that have been crucial to the court proceedings and the sentencing of those responsible for the incident on January 6.
One unusual claim in former Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s deposition is that Trump attempted to take control of the car’s steering wheel while the protests were going on. Secret Service operatives, however, have refuted this story.

In a Friday interview, Just The News host John Solomon asked Representative Loudermilk if the deposition tapes—that is, the ones with Cassidy Hutchinson—would be removed.
“That is true. I can confirm that. And all of the videotapes of all depositions are gone. Again, we found out about this early in the investigation when I received a call from someone who was looking for some information off one of the videotapes and we started searching and we had none,” Loudermilk said.
The Georgia congressman requested access to the tapes from Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the chair of the January 6 committee, according to a recent statement. Thompson, disappointingly, replied that the committee felt the tapes were not necessary and that they had not been preserved.
“He didn’t feel that they had to, but according to House rules, you have to preserve any data and information and documents that are used in an official proceeding, which they did. They actually aired portions of these tapes on their televised hearings, which means they had to keep those, but yet he chose not to,” Loudermilk said.
Loudermilk emphasized that finding the tapes is the first priority and expressed confidence that they are out there. “Even with Cassidy Hutchinson, people have asked why do you need the videos? You’ve got written transcripts. Well, when you’ve got someone like Cassidy, who is significantly changing her testimony, I want to see what her body language is when she gave her original testimony. I want to see what her voice inflection is,” he said.

“Was she very confident in what she was saying at that time, but then later decided to change it? This is why it’s so important that we have those videotapes, and I believe that’s probably why we don’t have them.”
How convenient for the committee that all the tapes of the depositions were erased!!! If I remember correctly speaker McCarthy had demanded that all evidence etc be maintained for the New Republican majority . Sure all sounds very fishy , Pelosi , & Thompson & the entire membership of the committee should be held accountable especially seems that they referred there findings to the DOJ>
