Famous comedian Dave Chappelle was asked about his plans in the event that former President Trump is reelected in 2024. He responded with a clever and unexpected remark.
“What the f**k you gonna do if Trump gets re-elected!” a member of the audience shouted at Chappelle during a recent stand-up performance. “Uh, what am I gonna do if Trump gets re-elected?” the comedian answered, pausing momentarily.

“Probably get a significant tax break,” then Chappelle made a joke that made people laugh and cheer.
In recent years, Chappelle has been subjected to intense criticism and backlash from left-wing pressure groups and disgruntled activists.
When the well-known comedian’s jokes about transgenderism sparked a cancel culture movement in late 2021, outrage against him erupted. Chappelle, who was well-known for his funny digs at different racial and ethnic groups, came under fire. He boldly declared, “Gender is an undeniable reality. Every person in this room, every individual on this planet, owes their existence to the birthing process of a woman. This is an indisputable fact,” during his comedy special, The Closer.
Soon after Chappelle’s performances, protests broke out, and supporters organized a boycott of The Closer. accusing the creator of Chappelle’s Show of being a “TERF,” a pejorative term frequently used by radical feminists to exclude transgender people.
“This is not only about people’s feelings getting hurt or political correctness, this is about the threats of violence that people in the trans community face every single day,” reporters were informed at the time by one of the protestors that Chappelle’s remarks will “lead to violence” against transgender people.
