Early Sunday morning, an unexpected event unfolded close to former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate as Palm Beach Police detained four individuals linked to a beached vessel incident. Around 7:45 a.m., the police department alerted the public via social media about the presence of a 23-foot vessel discovered near 1200 North Ocean Blvd., which is a mere six miles north of the opulent Mar-a-Lago.
Captain Will Rothrock, spokesperson for the Palm Beach police, conveyed to Newsweek that the boat likely landed on the shore between midnight and 5 a.m., with authorities finding it by 5:30 a.m. The individuals apprehended were three women and one man, with two women requiring hospital visits as a precaution. Among those detained, Rothrock revealed, were two Haitian and two Colombian nationals. The Colombians were issued notices to appear, a formal document initiating the deportation process.
