U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone III was simply walking to his hotel on Tuesday evening, puffing on a cigar, when out of nowhere, danger struck.
A 40-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, Saul Morales-Garcia, suddenly approached Sarcone. Without warning, he began speaking in a foreign language before pulling a knife and charging at the federal official.
According to The Times Union, “Morales-Garcia spoke to him in a foreign language and ultimately ran toward Sarcone with a knife in his hand.”
