Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) just lit a political wildfire under Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), tearing into the far-left congresswoman for her flip-flop on U.S. military intervention. Greene didn’t mince words, blasting AOC as a “pathetic little hypocrite” who once voted to fund foreign conflicts, yet now wants to play the anti-war card—because it’s politically convenient.
AOC, never one to stay silent, sounded the alarm after former President Donald Trump authorized targeted strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Instead of backing America’s national security interests, AOC rushed to social media, calling the move “disastrous” and claiming Trump had overstepped his powers.
In her words:
“The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers. He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment,” AOC declared on X.
That triggered a fierce reaction from Greene, who reminded everyone that AOC had no problem voting to funnel billions into Ukraine for military aid when it was President Biden in charge. Suddenly, when it’s Trump leading with strength, AOC finds her so-called “moral compass.”
