Hunter Biden has abruptly withdrawn his lawsuit against former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler, citing financial difficulties as his reason for backing down. The lawsuit, which was filed in 2023, targeted Ziegler over the public release of emails allegedly sourced from Biden’s infamous laptop.
In a court filing submitted to a federal court in California, Biden’s legal team requested U.S. District Judge Hernan D. Vera to dismiss the case, arguing that Biden’s income had “dropped significantly” and that he was drowning in millions of dollars of debt.

Adding to his troubles, Biden’s attorneys pointed to wildfires in Pacific Palisades as a contributing factor to his financial hardship, claiming they rendered his rental home “unlivable for an extended period of time.”
