Hunter Biden Just Said THIS About Kamala!

The revealing exchange came during an interview with Zeteo founder and former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, who confronted Hunter about comments he had previously made regarding Harris.

Hasan wanted specifics.

Hunter wasn’t interested in providing them.

“That’s between me and her,” he told Hasan.

Hasan immediately challenged him: “You can’t just dangle that out.”

That prompted Hunter to make perhaps the most revealing comment of the exchange.

“You know why I can? Because I ain’t running for anything, Mehdi, I can say whatever the f— I want.”

And that, ironically, may explain why Hunter is willing to say something many Democratic strategists would rather avoid discussing.

Harris Still Can’t Escape the 2024 Debacle

Harris entered the 2024 presidential contest under extraordinary circumstances after Joe Biden abandoned his reelection campaign.

Democrats quickly rallied behind his vice president, pouring enormous resources into a compressed 107-day general election campaign.

It wasn’t enough.

Donald Trump defeated Harris, returning to the White House despite the Democratic Party’s massive financial operation and relentless effort to portray the election as an existential choice.

Harris has since attempted to tell her side of the disastrous campaign through her book, 107 Days.

She has also criticized Biden’s decision to seek another term, reportedly describing it as “recklessness.”

Yet one of the biggest problems haunting Harris is the question she never convincingly answered during the campaign: What, exactly, would she have done differently from Joe Biden?

That question became especially damaging because voters frustrated with the economy, immigration and other issues were looking for change.

Harris was trying to present herself as that change while simultaneously defending the administration in which she had served for nearly four years.

Biden Reportedly Wanted ‘No Daylight’

The complicated relationship between Biden and Harris became even more significant after journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes reported that Biden instructed Harris to maintain loyalty to his administration.

According to their account, Biden told her, “No daylight, kid.”

Biden later disputed that characterization during an appearance on The View.

Whatever happened privately, Harris publicly struggled to create meaningful distance between herself and the unpopular administration she hoped to succeed.

She did not make a dramatic break with Biden over Israel.

She did not convincingly separate herself from his economic policies.

And when opportunities arose to identify major Biden decisions she would have handled differently, Harris repeatedly failed to establish a clear alternative.

Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert summarized the political problem this way:

“Voters cast their vote on leadership, confidence and authenticity. If the country is unhappy with the person in charge, you can’t run as the change candidate while essentially saying, ‘I wouldn’t have changed much.’”

That contradiction became one of the defining weaknesses of Harris’ campaign.

She needed Biden’s political coalition while simultaneously needing voters to believe a Harris administration represented something new.

She never successfully reconciled the two messages.

Hunter’s Criticism Raises an Awkward Question

That makes Hunter Biden’s attack particularly noteworthy.

If Hunter believes Harris is such a poor politician, what specifically does he think she did wrong?

Was it her failure to distance herself from his father?

Was it her campaign strategy?

Her inability to explain her agenda?

Her public appearances?

Or does his criticism stem from something that happened privately between Harris and the Biden family?

Hunter’s “That’s between me and her” response only creates more questions.

There is also an obvious irony.

Hunter is criticizing Harris after his own family played a central role in creating the political circumstances that ultimately made her the Democratic nominee.

Joe Biden resisted pressure to abandon his reelection campaign until the summer of 2024, leaving Democrats with little time to conduct anything resembling a traditional presidential primary.

Harris inherited the nomination and then inherited Biden’s political baggage.

Now Biden’s son is publicly declaring that she wasn’t good at the job.

Democrats May Have to Deal With Harris Again

The problem for Democrats is that Harris has not disappeared.

Despite her loss to Trump, she continues to retain considerable support among Democratic voters and remains a potential contender for the party’s 2028 presidential nomination.

A Rasmussen survey cited in reports put Harris at 37 percent among likely Democratic primary voters, compared with 14 percent for California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

That possibility could put Democratic leaders in an uncomfortable position.

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville has already made clear that he believes the party needs to move beyond the political figures associated with its 2024 defeat.

“Anybody that had anything to do with 2024, the party wants to move on from that.”

Harris apparently has other ideas.

And now Hunter Biden is publicly suggesting that whatever ambitions she still possesses may exceed her political abilities.

His refusal to elaborate may prove even more interesting than the insult itself.

Hunter is no longer protecting a campaign. He isn’t seeking office. And, as he colorfully reminded Hasan, he believes that gives him the freedom to speak without worrying about political consequences.

That freedom produced a brutal assessment of the Democratic Party’s most recent presidential nominee.

Whether Hunter eventually explains exactly why he considers Harris such a bad politician remains to be seen.

For Democrats already confronting difficult questions about 2028, however, the bigger problem is impossible to ignore.

The Biden-Harris partnership that Democrats once presented as unified is now producing very public cracks — and the president’s own son just helped expose one of them.
