A disturbing act of violence in downtown Seattle has resulted in felony charges against a 36-year-old woman accused of attacking a stranger and biting off a portion of her forehead in an apparently unprovoked confrontation.
The September 18 incident left the victim, identified as Diana Gonzalez, with a gruesome injury after an ordinary walk through the city allegedly turned into a terrifying encounter with a stranger.
According to reports, the suspect, identified by prosecutors as Kamilia Chadli, approached Gonzalez on Third Avenue and allegedly launched into a verbal confrontation before the situation escalated into a violent physical attack.
