According to the poll, less than half of all respondents believe DEI actually helps “the people it’s intended to help.” Even more striking, four in ten black respondents and one-third of Hispanics said DEI programs actually increase discrimination against minorities. Only about a quarter of white respondents said the same.
In other words, the groups DEI was allegedly designed for now see it for what it really is—a political tool, not a path to empowerment.

DEI doesn’t uplift minorities. It stigmatizes them.
It creates doubt about whether achievements are earned or handed out.
And worst of all, it gives progressives a weapon to delegitimize any black or Hispanic person who refuses to toe the leftist line.
