Vice President Kamala Harris is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons. During a recent interview on CBS’ 60 Minutes, Harris responded to a question about the U.S. relationship with Israel in a manner that critics are calling another one of her infamous “word salad” moments, leaving many questioning her ability to clearly articulate U.S. policy, particularly amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
The interview, conducted by Bill Whitaker, focused on U.S. foreign policy in relation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the current war against Hamas. Monday marked the one-year anniversary of Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel, which has since fueled a significant escalation in the conflict. Harris’ response to questions about U.S. influence over Netanyahu and Israel’s defensive measures has left many observers scratching their heads.
