GOP Senator Threatens JD Vance’s 2028 Bid!

Sen. Ted Cruz met last November with a longtime ally in an office near Washington’s Union Station to discuss the future of the Republican Party—and his own potential next step.

Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, warned Cruz about the rise of “Jew hatred and Israel bashing” within certain conservative circles. Cruz, who had already been speaking out against antisemitism in the GOP, revealed that he was being encouraged to consider a 2028 presidential bid.

Klein recalled that Cruz appeared “seriously” considering the possibility.

With former President Donald Trump not expected to run in 2028, Cruz has begun positioning himself as a defender of traditional Republican foreign policy, one that is hawkish and pro-Israel. He has also publicly criticized prominent MAGA commentator Tucker Carlson, accusing him of spreading antisemitic narratives, a charge Carlson denies.
